People are separated from God because of their sin.

​

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and

your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

​

Because of our sinful nature, we are not right (righteous) with God.

​

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one

Everyone is alike. We have all sinned. No matter how good you think you may be, you still fall short of God's holiness and are not worthy to be in His presence.

​

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The penalty for our sin is Hell; an eternal destination apart from God. It is a place of punishment for our sin because we refused to humble ourselves before God and to receive His offer of forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

​

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

​

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

​

We must repent. That means to turn from our way and to turn to God's way. That way begins by trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

​

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

​

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

 

When you “trust in Christ”, you are acknowledging that He is truly what He said and proved He is: God in the flesh, come to make the payment for our sins. He did this because God loves us and desires to save us from the punishment that we truly deserve! Trusting means that you accept Him by faith. Not trusting to be good... we can't be good enough!

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

​

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

​

The time to make this decision to trust Christ is now! Nobody is guaranteed of tomorrow. God brought you here to read this because He wants to forgive you and to receive you into His family. God wants to receive you into Heaven one day to be with Him! What are you waiting for?

​

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured (helped) thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

 

Just think about it. You can see the results of sin all over the world, in your town and in your own home! We need a Saviour. Without Jesus there is no hope and we truly deserve what is coming to us. We can look into the mirror and see that same ugly sinful nature.

 

Mankind needs forgiveness! And if you're honest with yourself, you need forgiveness. Why not just humble yourself before God and receive His love and forgiveness?

Just pray something like this in your own words, and from your heart:

​

“Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and that I deserve to be punished for my sins. Thank you for loving me and sending Jesus to die in my place for my sins. I ask you to please forgive me. I believe Jesus is the Lord and I receive Him by faith as my Saviour. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.”
